what does it mean when someone wants you to stay on the phone with them until they fall asleep?

um my ex…. that im not sure if she has feelings for me or not i think she moved on but then idk… n she sounded like she really wan me 2 stay on the phone wit her till she fell asleep

It depends. My friends ask me sometimes to be with them until they fall asleep, but it’s more of a safety thing to them. It makes them feel safe and less alone. It could be the same thing for her? Perhaps she didn’t want to be alone.

what i think is ether she may still have feelings for you or she was possible scared to sleep and she wanted to feel like if something happened the phone would already be on and your just someone she really trust with her life

she misses you. ive done this a couple times with girls with a 1+ year relationship. its a sign of love/ deep comfort.
