Why does she start shivering when she's hungry?

My cousin has gotten into this thinking that she’s fat. So she began not eating, I just try to make her eat and stuff but it’s no use and she’s not going to do something until she wants to, i’m just letting her be until she realizes how supid she’s being. But whenever she does not eat all day she is shivering and at the end she has to eat and she still shivers, what could be causing that? Is it something that does have to be seen by a doctor or something?

Its because shes not eating. Its a normal body reaction for your to get the shakes when your body isnt getting the nutrients and calories that it needs. You NEED food and water for your body to function properly, when you dont eat your body panics and you start to shake. If she wont listen to you, you need to tell her parents. Starving yourself to be thinner is very dangerous and is a serious medical disorder that needs to be recognized. Without food her organs will shut down and she will die if she doesnt get help. Its not a joking matter that should be ignored.

Yes she needs to be seen by a doctor, and it’s called starvation.
