Answer #2

my mom is so annoying though…she wont let me use a hair straightener, makeup, curling iron, shave my legs, use face cleanser/moistorizer to prevent and clean my oily zitty face or use foundation. UGHHH!!!! she says im too “young” to shave my legs and stuff…but i can’t just have hairy cavewomen legs :P she’s probably gonna have to have me wait till im 20…so basically i can never wear skirts or shorts or anything because ill look manly. :P why is she so old fashioned and strict about these things? :P im so frustrated i cant do anything to be prettier and stuff …. :P ughhh! i look so wierd with my zits and man legs and curvy hair

Answer #6

I started shaving my legs when I was 11. That’s when the hairy legs stage of puberty came for me. Then I stopped when I was 12.

Now I shave them every 3-4 weeks or so when I start to see more noticeable hairs growing. I wax sometimes, but not for a long time because I want to have some hair for the winter.

Answer #7

There’s no set age to start shaving your legs , do it when it feels right ! Usually I feel more comfortable when I do because then I know if I ever have to wear something that shows my legs , I can. I started shaving my legs in 6th grade …

Answer #8

Well , once you start feeling self conscious about it that’s when you should . Age is immaterial .

Answer #9

wait….aren’t you a guy? :P

Answer #10

I started with nair about 7th grade and started shaving around the 8th grade =).

Answer #11

haha oh yea remember these days i didnt get to shave or do my eyebrows till i was in high school now that sucks haha. 7th grade is a good cause u dont want to get laughed at plus ur already a teen. you have to think your mother prob doesnt want to let you do it cause it means ur growing up. Its prob hard for her to face it so she wants to keep u her baby but just talk to her and ask her when you can start to shave most moms will listen and start to open up.

Answer #12

Some guys shave their armpits, legs, and tummy to be hairless . :) It doesn’t make them gay or anything . They just don’t like hair on them (:

Answer #13

guys dont need to do that though no offense. but thanks for the help. and its ok i guess…its cleaner and better anyway =)

Answer #14

but she gets mad everytime i start talking about that stuff…or ask a question about it and idk why ill try some more though

Answer #15

lol sounds like my mom did the samething yea just ask her well when is a good age cause once your 13 its not cool to walk around hairy just keep talking to her or ask her about threading its another way to remove hair.

Answer #16

depends. i started at 11? in 6th grade. but then again i had an unusual excessive amount of DARK leghair. and it made me self concience.

Answer #17

I’d say whenever you start dressing out in P.E.

Answer #18

In middle school I would say. but it’s up to you, just be careful and don’t shave in places you don’t need to cause then that causes you to grow more hair in different areas.

Answer #19

honectly, i wouldnt cuz when u do that, ur hair grows fast on ur legs and you’ll have to shave EVERY…SINGLE…DAY. ..and i dont have time for and i dont see the point… plus i dont really have visble leg hairs so.. lol

Answer #20

I started once I turned 13. Its really whenever you’re ready :P Not a big deal :)

Answer #21
