Hi,

here are some Stanford Admission statistics:

Percent applicants admitted: 10%. Average SAT score (2006): 1400-1600 (Perfect score)

Typically admitted students have unweighted GPAs in the range of 3.6-4.0 and are within the top 10% of their high school classes, for those schools that rank.

So you need basically straight As and even then only 10% of people are admitted.
