Speech topic?
Our school is doing speeches (again again) And im keen to write a serious speech but I can’t think of anything! Im quite good at speeches and I enjoy writing them but over the last 5 years of writing billions of speeches I’ve run out of topics.
I don’t want to do something to cliche like ‘abortion’ ‘ghosts’ ‘child abuse’ or ‘animal rights’ But I want a topic that would be interesting for my listeners.
Im in year 11 and doing cambridge if that helps.
Well maybe something like diseases like sexual or airborn or maybe you can write about things that you care about or what you see the world is doing wrong

I ended up doing ‘torture through the middle ages’ it was quite gory actually lol.

Try religion. Look at what Christopher Hitchens has to say. Good stuff.
