What songs are good for rough sounding singers?
my friend is from georgia, and he plays guitare and sings, he has a rough southern voice, and can’t do high notes but he is really good, he plays acoustic and electric, what are some good songs he can learn and play, they dont have to be popular

The singer from R.E.M. has a rough voice. Some of the songs are easy to play. Some are not. And I’m sure that, (if he likes that sort of music) all songs by Tanita Tikaram would be good to sing with a male voice that can go up to high notes.
