Answer #1

There is a change that he could have major problems, however I would follow the doctors advice, chances are he is just being a child and having some temper tantrums.

Answer #2

I was born 3 months premature and I had a few learning difficulties, but if the doctor says it’s normal more often than not doctors are right, I’m sure your son is fine, hope this helps

Answer #3

Some kids born that early actually develop very well. But many don’t.

You should take him to the pediatrician doctor for a complete check-up regularly. Like every 4 months while he is still a baby and once every year when he is older. Or more often if your doctor asks for it. And you can observe whether there is anything where he is weaker or slower than other kids his age. Or if he has any other issues that seem unhealthy to you. Most problems can be helped if identified early. It’s important that you keep an eye on that and just check whether anything goes amiss. But if he’s lucky, he’ll not have any health problems.

Best of luck for both of you. :-)

sometimes but if hes alright at the minit he should only be a bit smaller than usual ive got a cousin who was 4 months premature

Answer #5

Depends on the causes of his being born prematurely. My two cousins were born premature due to their mother’s health. They do not have any problem at all, In fact both of them were all graduate university with A-. My advice, do not worry too much but pay more attention in his first year.

Answer #6

Yes, he could have problems later on or he may not. Regardless, the temper tantrums are not necessarily an indication of issues. They could be. You’re going to have to speak to an expert about that. We don’t have too many experts on children’s health on here. And even if we did, we cannot observe or view the behaviors.

Answer #7

It is possible, some premature born children can end up with autism, or learning disabilities or even stunted growth but a large number of them live normal healthy lives as well.
