How do I solve the stop-c000021a-fatal-system-error on my windows XP without the windows disks?

normally a failed install…

what was the last thing you installed before it started to happen?

uninstall it and see if it helps..

or try a system restore back to before you installed it.

The last thing was pokerstars.net updated when I logged in. I didn’t imagine it would be a problem. Now I can’t even get windows to boot up. I’ve tried everything, safe mode, safe mode with command prompts, restore to the last known time it worked properly. Nothin! Any idea what’s next? If I find the disks I should be able to restore windows from that but will it erase my hard drive?
