My friend wants to know, is it normal for a man’s penis to smell like fish? What is the cause?

It is probable that he is masturbating and not washing afterwards.
He needs to wash with soap and water straight after he cums to avoid this. If he stays clean is should not smell bad at all. This also applies to girls.
However, if washing straight away does not help, it is possible that thrush or another infection may be the cause and should get checked out with his doctor.
Unless you have other evidence please ignore the comments above ref he may be cheating as this is problem is purely down to personal hygeine and can easily happen through just masturbating and not cleaning himself properly afterwards.
