What size tattoo should I get? (read more)

ja thats true :D but i was just wondering becaus everyone says they regret the first tattoo they got and i dont want mine to be huge and have me hat it in 20 years lol :)

It depends on your pain tolerance, really. It might be a good idea to start off smaller seeing as it will be your first. Just ask the tattoo artist what size they think would look good if you’re not sure =].

im not THAT weak but im kinda scared :) lol

So try a smaller one first then =]. You can always add to it later if you want the piece to be bigger.

Get whatever you think is going to look best, it’s all about the finishing product. Don’t get it smaller just because it’s “your first tattoo” or you have a low pain tolerence because a year from now that won’t matter. Get what YOU want or your not going to be completely satisfied with it.

Lol I turned 18 last October n was gonna get a tattoo but there kinda expensive lol can’t wait to get one thought! And what I was thinking is to get a smaller tattoo first just so you know how it feels.

Make a wise choice on your selection, either small or big, the place you want it and how you want it. Laser Surgery hurts like a B*tch if you feel that this tattoo your getting isn’t what you expected, or not satisfied with it. I don’t have a tattoo yet but I do hope soon, any way try looking at different sizes and what you prefer to have forever, they won’t necessarily give you something to take when getting the tat, so try not to stress yourself out too much c; Good Luck!

I say it depends on you. Get something you can be proud of & won’t feel regret. If you want something detailed, I think you should get a bigger one. If you want something really simple, maybe try a smaller one. You can always add on to it. I’m getting my first in two months & its gonna be a little bigger than palm sized lol

If you’re still thinking about size maybe you should wait on it until you’re 100% confident in what you want. You could always start small and add on to it.
