Should I replace my PS3 with a new 120GB Slim?

I currently have a 60 GB Backwards Compatible PS3 that plays PS1 through PS3 games. I bought it used off of Ebay and it works perfectly. But I noticed something the other day when trying to watch the Hangover on Blu-Ray. Some of the special features wouldnt read, like the extra pictures and other stuff. The features worked on my roommates’ PS3 so it must me my PS3. I emailed Sony to see if they could tell me what was wrong. I could sell it on Ebay and get some compensation and then buy a 120 GB Slim PS3 as I have a PS2 to play my PS2 games on.

What do you think I should do?

Answer #1

I wouldn’t. If your current is busted do whatever you want. But otherwise, just buy the entire thing over again if you’re wanting it. I mean, in the end, you’d come out with less money than you had before anyways.

Answer #2

Get a new one pal. The Slims are also so much more practical aswell. I just picked me up a 250gb slim, its just great, so much quiter aswell not that the ps3 made much noise anyway.

before you hit ebay, check your entertainment exchange centeres etc, see what they are offering you.

sound.
