Should I confront my boyfriend about his phone?

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for a little over 2 months now. We are in a long distance relationship and he flys to see me about twice a month. He always calls me two to three times a day, and if he can’t talk to me he sends me a txt letting me know that he can’t talk for a few hours and that he will call me later. The past few days, things have changed. It seems like he only calls me when he feels like talking and doesn’t always answer my calls. I don’t expect him to be there whenever I decide to call him, but it is so unlike him to let me go for hours without at least a txt to let me know whats up. I know he has his phone on him because he has to have it on him at all times for work. We havent had our first argument yet and I don’t want this to turn into one. This is really starting to upset me now and I am wondering whether I should confront him about it now. I dont want to some clingy, I just dont want this change to become permenant. What is a good way to go about bringing this up to him without causing problems?

iknow guys that always talk about how they need “time” I guess I tend to be clingy sometimes with calling them, and they honestly just need some space, or time to themselves. since he lives far away maybe he is just really busy and doens’t know that what hes doing is upseting you. I think you should just ask him if everything is okay between yall, and maybe if he has been busy. one thing I do is when im upset about something and I talk to the guy about it dont use a tone like your totally pissed, and dont make it sound like you were hurt by it in other words sound like your sorry for youself because I’ve noticed that guys dont like that. just be sweet, and whatever he tells you say that you understand but you would like him to try to communicate with you better so you wont have to worry.

trust me, I would be upset too!
