Will he cheat on me or leave me for her?

My boyfriend ran into an old friend not to long ago and I asked one of our friends about her, apparently they had dated and he was obsessed with her. He’s been acting weird and giving her things, fighting over her with his friend jokingly (Who had dated her too)”I told her this first” “She likes me more” type of stuff. Doing things like waiting for her, things he’s never done with me. He talks about her with me 24/7 and tells me she’s jealous of me. I finally managed the courage and asked him about this “Obsession” and he admitted to it but he said he loves me and not to worry because “She said she wouldn’t date him” last time he asked her to come back. I’m wondering if I should worry about this, I don’t want to be hurt. Is there a chance he will actually cheat?

Ok, well if you are afraid he might cheat, then you need to sit down, and tell him how you feel, unfortunately, you can never really trust someone 100% without the doubt of getting your heart broken, so to avoid this, tell him you dont really like him being that close to her because it worries you, and if he loves you like he says he does… then he will respect your decision, and back up.. anyways, good luck. :]
