Shitzu breathing
My shitzu seems like he has breathing problems once in awhile almost sounds like wheezing is this normal, also happens when he gets excited
Maybe you should take him to the vet
Look up what is called a reverse sneeze, this may be what she is doing. Yes they do have breathing issues because of the shape of there face. some vet’s will make the nasal hole wider and stich it back, at the hospital I work at we have done this with some of the Bull dogs. When they came in for a neuter or spay, we opened there nose while they were under.
All the squished faced dogs have breathing problems (mostly minor)…She’s probably fine, but if this really worries you, let the Vet make an assessment of her nasal passages…that way you can rest easy.
