Seeing colorful shapes in the dark?

I definitely know I am not crazy, but sometimes I see odd outlines in the dark or green flashes of light? Kind of like I’m seeing things in night vision or thermacam. I can see them when I close my eyes too and sometimes it freaks me out, probably because I have a vivid imagination, heh. Is there an eye condition that has these symptoms? I take melatonin and omega 3, can that be contributing to anything?

well I can see in that way too,, but I guess its just seeing too much light I quess,

I see things like that, too. When I was younger, I used to see bright orange and red shapes that looked like flames, and I thought I was getting glimpses of hell… haha. I’m pretty sure its just the drastic change from the lights on to the dark
