scared to show people my writting!!!

I have been writting for 2 years now and I think my work is pretty good but I only write about real people, emotions and situations I go thru.. so im kinda scared to show people. I don’t really know what I get out of writting but it helps me just relax and makes me feel better after I write whats wrong down. is it a bad thing I dont show people??

I write for the same reason, and I’ve been doing it for four years. my friends also do a lot of writing and after they finish, they actually ask me to proofread it or just ask for my opinion. I feel you should show someone; you may be discovered someday :) if you want, I’ll read it and give you my opinion. I’m doing that for another friend of mine on here.

If you feel it is private keep it that way. Unless you really want it to be revealed. I show my writings to close friends only. My mom, brothers, and almost everybody else in the world don’t know that I have notebook upon notebook full of writings. You know who knows you best and who will understand what you have written. Those are the people you should let indulge in your writings..

Try showing your writing to someone who you know will be nonjudgmental and supportive.
