Sagging Law?

I think that sagging is pretty dumb. But its your style, and if you want to sag, sag then. And to put a law and practically ban a style? No way, jose. xD

Thats like telling me, to stop wearing my hair in my face. Its not going to happen. I don’t agree with this law. Because, from what I’ve heard, sagging hasn’t hurt anyone. If there’s going to be an actual LAW on sagging, it should at least be on like how low you pants can sag. If you have you pants on your knees, you should be fined.

Sagging on your knees does not make you “cool or gangsta.” It makes you look like you can’t afford a belt.

What do you think? Sagging or No sagging?

Answer #1

I don’t particularly like having to stare at another guy’s underwear. I say yea.

But then, I think the 18th Amendment should have been kept, so…

And don’t give me the “It was against the Germans.” Irish and Scottish were also big alcohol consumers. It was to save grain.

Answer #2

Agree with toadaly…if they make looking like a dumba** illegal (or being one, for that matter), they’ll die of old age before ever getting in front of a judge.

Answer #3

No, I dont think there should be a law. seriously, just because I dont like to wear my pants like that (because im a girl, duh) dosent mean no one can? it dosent really bother me because it’s THEIR style and it’s up to THEM how they were THEIR clothes. There’s no reason to go to the extreme of making a law for how someone dresses. Do you think that they would make a law again skinny jeans that show everything of someone’s but, nope, so why ban baggy jeans?

Answer #4

I think it looks unprofessional, sloppy and, lazy - I would never hire someone who came to me looking like that, and I never allowed anyone in my kitchen to wear their pants like that…

However - there shouldn’t be a law against it…that infringes upon a person’s freedoms.

Answer #5

I wish it could become a law because it looks so stupid. In my opinion, the only thing a person has to do is put on a belt, or a person could could wear the pant size that fits them just right. I’m not saying that the jeans should be skinny or tight., but just the right size. Unfortunately, it could never be put into law because it is a represntation of freedom of speech, which can include how someone decides to wear their pants.

Answer #6

I think it’s just the style. Depending on how people where them, it can be considered indecent exposure.

Answer #7

Freedom of Expression. One of the top amendments of our constitusion! And that doesn’t just go for what you say. It also goes for what you wear! There shouldn’t be a freaking law against it. That’s absolutely ridiculous!

Answer #8

Well it looks nerdy when guys pull their pants up to the waist, but its just trashy when guys wear them so low they have to wobble .. I mean come onn .. do they really enjoy keeping up with all that? I think a little sag is fine, but when I can see your boxers going up ir a** then its time to pull em up lol. Oh, and I hate it when guys DO wear belts but they still sag to their knees, pointlesss.

Answer #9

Freedom of Expression.

They use the same excuse for porn stars not being prostitutes. Perhaps I should walk into a theatre and yell fire? Freedom of Speech, right?

There should be highly tolerable limits to what a person does. It’s just ridiculous that we have to make laws to enforce them. No children these days have any common sense…

Answer #10

I think it looks idiotic and I think only easily swayed stupid people do it.

That said, there are already decency laws on the books. If someone wants to look like a dumass, but does so without showing their private parts, then let them.
