Is it safe to do homemade treatments on extensions?

I have real human hair extensions I usually glue in. When I have themin I usually use a dry shampoo but I really need to actually wash my hair every few days so its not nasty and when I do I like to do at home hair stuff like deep conditioning, egg and honey treatments stuff like that. I was wondering if it was safe to do these with my extensions to. Not with the conditionar of course while there in. but if i like let them soak in a bowl of stuff like it would it be ok for them?

You can wash them with regular shampoo & conditioner, but I don’t really know about treatments, it might make the hair fall out. Try it on a small piece first.
