running for class secretary
im running for class secretary and I need 25 signatures from juniors and seniors. but I need to know how to approach them. any tips. because their going to want 2 know what their signing. ya noe??
Make a flyer..hang up flyers around the school.. Local Libraries, shopping markets, post offices… Explaining who you are.. What your hobbies & Interests are – or just put a little bit about you, Tell them you are running for class secretary.. Show them what you will try to accomplish if you do get elected to be class secretary.. Then pass a clipboard around the school/class with one flyer on top of the clipboard, with a note at the bottom of the flyer saying.. Please sign here if you would like to vote me in as your class secretary.. Make sure to add.. Thanks for your support and I promise I’ll try my hardest if elected! Good luck
Just go up to them, SMILE, be nice, briefly tell them what you’re doing and tell them you would really appreciate it if they had your support and if they could sign for you. If they don’t want to sign, don’t pester them about it, just say thankyou and walk away.

I just ran for secretary in September. First make sure you really want the job. I know this sounds silly but it is a lot more work then you may realize. Then find small groups of 3-6 hanging out in an area. Go up to them and compliment them about something. First impressions are IMPORTANT! Next tell them about the election and how much their signatures would help. If they sign be sure to genuinely thank them. If they don’t sign don’t feel bad there are more people. Smile and walk away to a new group.
