How can I make Rum on Fire?

I mean dark Rum.

Answer #1

You need something like Bacardi 151 if you want it to burn, as lower proof alcohol won’t burn very well.

Answer #2

I’m not quite sure what your asking here. You can take a plain shot of good proofed dark rum and light the top on fire and make a flaming shot. There are hundreds of flaming shot recipes that include dark rum though so im not sure which one your speaking off.

Answer #5

To set set rum or any other liquor aflame in drinks or food dishes, prewarm the glass, cooking vessel, and liquor. Preheat a spoonful of liquor, light it, then pour it into the remaining liquor to be set aflame.
