Do dead stalks mean I should cut down my rubber plant?

I’VE GOT DEAD STALKS ON TOP OF PLANT, DOES IT NEED CUTTING DOWN AND IF SO, HOW FAR DOWN SHOULD I GO?

Hi keith165uk,

Cutting the tree way back, to near the ground, will result in dozens of stems and a much more shrubby plant.

Just pruning the dead leaves should help the tree become healthy again.

Good luck.
