rofl (rolling on floor laughing), roflmao (rolling on floor laughing my a$$ off), etc - those have been around for longer than “texting” afaik (as far as i know) ;)

Besides, I don’t txt, but I do use some shorthand, and more than likely, far too many TLA’s ;) (three letter acronyms).
