Why is their ALWAYS romance in movies?

Not always but yeah most of the time, I mainly think because is what people live, there will always be love, hearbreak and what not. So the make movies about that because people can relate to them and feel them and all that, so the movie becomes a hit.

You know what movies generally have absolutely no “love” in them? Documentaries.

In Russian movies, there’s never any romance. It’s like Communism’s ideology has dripped into the producer’s hearts and every movie that comes out, only has lots of mystery, and lots of death.

The only movies I watch that contain romance are most Japanese, Korean, American, English, and Hindi films. There’s a love scene in like every movie from those countries.

There’s romance in movies not only because it sells, but also because romance is a part of life.

As an example, you mention the movie Titanic. The movie Titanic was a story explained by a woman who explained the events that happened while she was on the ship. Part of her story was about her life and the things she encountered and endured while she was aboard. This included a LOT of parts aside from the romance, though the romance did fuel her. The way you see a movie usually has a lot to do with what parts you pay attention to.

In Titanic there was love, but there was also a lot of suffering and sadness. I saw the people in the lower classes of the ship get locked down below, I saw the water fill compartments and rooms after seeing the ice berg hit the ship, I saw women and children get put on life boats, then I saw people scatter everywhere while the ship was going down, I saw the captain stay in his ship, the men playing music one last time.. Before that all there was the dancing, everything.. If all you saw was the romance, you definitely missed a lot of parts.

As said, however, there are a lot of movies that do not have romance in them. What are movies without a little feeling, though? I could never sit through something dry like that, lol.

well, movies are for the entertainment of people righ? and what is something that people can almost always relate to? romance. Plus girls love that kind of stuff and well you have to admit that girls can make people wealthy, by liking a movie or song or whatever. if you were a movie producer who produces a good movie that girls cry over it will become very popular so many people will want to whatch it and your rich! think of all the girls that convince their boyfriend to whatch a chick flick. i did that just last weekend lol. Thats what I figured anyway. =)
