How do you get rid of the redness when your skin is sun burnt?

Answer #1

i heard rubbing a piece of an aloe plant on it helps or vinegar

Answer #2

you have to wait for the redness to fo away, the aloe plant and vinegar just get rid of the pain

Answer #3

Try using a product that promotes moist and healthy skin, any of those usually will help heal the sunburn. However, if it’s blistering sunburn you should not apply any lotions, creams, or balms as it can cause the wound to become infected. Also, do not pop the blisters, they need to heal on their own.

-Products that contain lidocaine will help relieve the pain, as it is an anesthetic. -Chilled plain yogurt applied to the sunburn can help soothe sunburned skin. -You can use a washcloth soaked in cool milk to gently dab the sunburned area periodically throughout the day.

  • Products that contain aloe vera, cocoa butter, vitamin E, lavender oil, and tea are great for sunburn. -White or apple cider vinegar can be used to promote healing, soothe your pain, and prevent blistering and peeling. You can dip a wash cloth in vinegar and dab it onto the burns, or you can put some in your cool bath water. Avoid hot baths. -Drink lots of water. -Take cold showers, but do not use soap because it irritates the skin even more. -Wear soft, comfortable clothing.

Make sure you give your skin some time to breathe between applications of products, otherwise it could take longer to properly heal.

Answer #4

slowly the skin peels and its gone but it hurts soooooo bad not the peel but the burn

Answer #5

try soaking in the bath tub with 6 cups of apple cider vinegar (and water)

Answer #6

Don’t do vineger.. It stings.

Use Aloe Vera (from the cream or the plant, it doesn’t matter.)

And then apply natural greek yoghurt. The stuff reeks but it helps get the sting away as well as the redness.

Also when you’re finished all of these take a COLD shower.

If you want, you can put more aloe vera on afterwards.

I hope I helped! =) x
