How to get rid of acne scabs?

I am trying to clear up the rest of my acne. It has died down quite a bit since my bangs grew back out, but I still an annoyed with the fact that I get it every now and then. Now I have a scab on my forehead, and it hurts! I have not picked at it, and it has only disappeared a little bit. Can you guys please help me figure out how to get rid of it. Also, how can I prevent pimples from happening?

Do you mean scabs or scars? Scabs will fall off on its own. All you need is patience. If you scratch it off, it will just create anther wound which will scab over again. Vicious cycle. As for preventing acne, keep with an ongoing regime, cleanse, tone moisturize. Find products taht work for you, unfortunately this means experimentation with different products for yourself. Do not over-dry your skin, always moisturize. Your skin will produce more oils when it notices it is dry which in turn will clog your pores and create more pimples. Use an oil-free moisturizer and exfoliate your skin, this gets rid of dead skin and dirt which can also clog your pores. Avoid greasy, fried foods.
