How do you reset the HTC Eris to factory defaults?
I have upgraded this phone and I would like to sell it with out all of the personal info attached. Can you do a global reset of this phone?
Do u still have the booklet that came with it? Or u cud call customer service and they can walk u through it
go to settings, then something like privacy, then wipe data
hmm i dont have the eries, but i have the tilt, and i know when i wanted to do that i actually had to a hard reset on the phone, which of course whips out everything. i just looked it up on google. good luck!
Somewhere I do have a book and a box. (somewhere)..was hoping to avoid that…now that I think about it I had to download it.

I went to the HTC web support and they had the exact question with the wrong answer and no contact for errors…so I used my keen logic and powers of deduction skills and solved it. 0.o
