Lol that gave me a laugh but didn’t answer my question XD

At my last job my boss was Mormon and a lot of the people he did business with were as well.

Mormonism is a branch of Christianity based on the teachings of Joseph Smith. Mormons study and follow the Bible but they also follow the Book of Mormon which Joseph Smith claimed to have translated from ancient golden plates that an angel lead him to in New York. Mormons believe this book to be another testament of Christ.

Some people do not consider Mormons to be Christians because their doctrine on the trinity which differs from mainstream Christianity.

Some people consider Mormonism to be a Cult. Something I noted long ago was to most people a myth is any religion older than their own and a cult is any religion newer. By this view most people would consider Mormonism to be a cult.

Polygamy was practice in the Mormon church but they have since stopped officially condoning it. Some splinter groups of Mormons who wished to continue “plural marriage” continue it to this day.

Temple garments are another thing often brought up. Mormons wear special underwear to remind them of their connection to God. They consider it to be vestments like preists’ robes but outsiders often ridicule it as “magic underwear.”

Every Mormon who is able is expected to spend time as a missionary.

haha well I don’t know… they dont let the kids date till they are 16, cant listen to bad music, see bad movies, or anything really..lol well this is what I hear frm the mormons I know.. the steriotypical mormon has tons of wives and kids but thats not really how it is.. and well they go to seminary a lot… (church before school) and they have church on sunday.. just like a lot of religons.. well hmm I don’t know how to reallly describe it, sorry
