How do I recover my AOL screen name?

just made it yesterday and it was a suggested name, and Iost the paper I wrote it down on. I know my security question and such, just not my name!

I remember I had to change my password one time cause it got hacked.. and I didn’t know a question but still got around it somehow… though my brother-in-law helped cause his job is fixing computers… so that helped a lot. when you mean name… you mean your screan name ?

I would call AOL, or customer service and they should be able to restart that for you

I would actually just make another screen name, cause you can have multiple screen names on aol.

go to the help center and they’ll help you.

If you simply forgot your user name, email support with the address you provided them. If you’re looking to reclaim an old deleted account, you need to go to Username Options, then Manage My Usernames. From there you may restore deleted usernames of the last 6 months, as long as you have less than 7 active usernames total.

You only get so much time to recover a screen name when you delete it before the system deletes it permanently.
