Do you have to read the "Gossip Girl" novels to start reading the " It Girls" ?

My friend reads the it girl novels but she has read the gossips girls to and she watches gossip girl on tv.. soo do u have to read gossip girl to start readin start readin the it girls? xoxo ;)

No you don’t. The It Girl series is just about Gossip Girls, Jenny Humphreys character. I haven’t read the gossip girl books but I don’t think it should be a problem. The It Girl series was written by a ghostwriter anyways. Cecily von Ziegesar wrote the actual Gossip Girl series. Ask your friend if it really matters which one you read first. She should know since she’s read both :)
