Is there anywhere I can read "The Color Purple" by Alice Walker online for free?

I need it for class and idk if the library has any copies left. If you know a place can you give me the link please.. thanks.

Answer #1

You can’t. This book is actually protected with specific Federal Copyright Laws. It’d be highly illegal to post it on the Internet, for free that is. Sorry.

Answer #2

However, if it turns out that you cannot get a hold of the book, there’s a very, VERY in depth plot summary of every letter/chapter thing in the book. It’s on Sparknotes. Google Sparknotes and the Color Purple.
