Can I see Sweeney Todd if I'm 17?

I was wondering, I am 17 so is my friend who is turning 18 in April, and we want to go see Sweeney Todd next weekend and we want to go alone, but we don’t know if 17 year olds can go see it? So please tell me that! Thanks!!!

My mom isn’t coming with us.

I think that is stupid if you have to be 18, look at the back of cases and read the rate R description, 17 years and older, why would they put that label there if you have to be 18?

I think you should just try to get them yourself. you could probably pass as a year older than you really are…? If that doesnt work, do what the other people said… x]

Ya, you probably need to have your parents buy your tickets and say its for them (like buy them in advance) and then they give them to you and you can go! good luck! :)

It’s only R so have your parents buy the tix, then have them see a different movie. Works every time…

IT DEPENDS IN WHAT THE STATES LAW FOR THAT IS HERE IN NV YOU HAVE TO BE 17 TO WATCH RATED R MOVIE

Yeah, I saw it yesterday and it was awesome!!! So that proves I am able to get in at 17!!!

Aren’t the rules the same everywhere? I live in CA and if you’re 17 or older you can buy your own R rated tickets.
