Do you randomly get your answers removed because they were not useful?

No, because all my answers are glorious.    I actually didn’t know they did this, but it’s a good idea.

Nopee. But it happens. Especially when people put answers as like ‘idk’

Four of my answers have been removed, if my memory is right. They were removed for breach of policy/terms, and profanity. Never for being useless.

Well, I guess FA probably deletes without mention, old answers and questions that are currently obsolete… They can’t keep everything I’m sure.

“Randomly”? Nothing is ever randomly deleted.

Let me direct you to the little blurb beside the answer box - the one that says “WRITING GREAT ANSWERS You’ll get 1 FunAdvice Points if people like your answer! Give ACTUAL answers Do not vent, rant, incite hate speech, or other bad behavior. Poor or unhelpful answers may cause you to lose points”

Look closer now at the part that says “Give ACTUAL answers”, and explain to me how answering a question with “I don’t know” (which was your answer that got removed, thereby sparking this little query) is an ACTUAL answer.

Two or three of my answers mysteriously disappeared in recent weeks for no apparent reason. I doubt they were removed (because it happened almost immediately, and I think they were well within the guidelines quoted here). Any other ideas what might have happened?
