Are episiotomy's bad for your vagina?

After an episiotomy your vagina should go back to normal. I’ve had 1 and my husband said it was normal after. With my other 2 kids the doctor let me rip (my husband said this also felt normal after). Having the episiotomy hurt a lot more than ripping though but, by the time that baby is ready to come out, believe me, you’re not going to care what the doctor does to help the baby out. The biggest thing I can tell you is not to believe all the horror stories of having babies. After having 3 completely natural deliveries and getting to see your precious baby’s face believe me, who cares about a little bit of cutting.
