question regarding unemplyment extensions..

I am on temporary leave from my job and have only been there 8 months. My unemployment runs out in 2 weeks can I be eligible for the extension? I live in north carolina where unemployment is at an all time high. I also was laid off of my previous job of 2 years but already used up all that unemployment. Does anyone know if I can get an extension and also how I go about filing for it?

You would have to talk to someone at your employment office to see if you qualify…there are usually special circumstances that will either deny or accept you.
