Stand your dog up and have her head facing away from you. Place a hand on each side of her stomach. Encircle her tummy. Press in and see if you feel a puppy’s body shape. Now you can mistake the uterus when it is contracting for a shape, but not the shape of a puppy. It will be a lump. The puppy will actually feel like the shape of a puppy.

If you believe you feel a puppy give your dog, a Honey, depending on her size and walk her every 30 mins. Also consult with you Vets office.

My Boxer will get a Tablespoon of Honey, and walk for 5 mins every 30mins. with my Vets office on alert. If I believe she has a puppy inside and she has gone to long without delivery.

Oh course you always follow your Vet’s Office instructions over any others.

Have your Vet’s Number and the ER Vet’s Number on hand.

if you have an x ray done around the 55th day from conseption you will definetlly know. other wise they can be up to an hour apart. you should be able to tell when she is contracting. if con tractions completly stop chances are shes done. what kind of dog do you have. I guess thiat could make a differance too
