Where can I find new punk or emo bands?

I’m looking for websites to find new music/bands that are of the punk rock, emo, ska, metal, .. genres. any help?? please!

Hi,

You should look at the reviews listed on PunkPlanet.com. There’s a link for reviews on the left side of the page. It was a zine that just went out of business, but a close friend of mine worked for it. Some great reviews..

The best thing to do is to look up the web site of the record company’s that your favorite bands are on like I love The Descendents so I would send you to http://ww.fatwreck.com/ and then you and see what other bands they are backing or if they have any free downloads. You can also try MySpace - they have it set up easy to find bands based on the genera.
