Pulling out hair!

When I get upset or angry I pull out my hair in chunks this is new to me but my friend has oticed and has even threatend to tell my jrotc teacher… So how can I stop?

To anzly… Ginger paste dosen’t help with hair growth rather it helps the hair to BREAK MORE EASILY! It’s because the hair folicles are so sensitive that they can’t stand the spiceyness of ginger. It would be best to rub the scalp with olive oil OR coconut oil. They give the hair more strength and makes it more thicker.

Ok so, like you, whenever I got vexed or depressed I used to pull out my hair too. I did it so many times that I started noticing bald patches on my scalp. My hair started thinning and it bothered me so much that I stopped my hands from going to my hair. Whenever I had an urge to pull my hair I distracted my hands by quickly holding on to something or deliberately making my hands busy by grabbing a pen and scribbling down random stuff. =D

THAT IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! biting your nails is a terrible habit. I was like you except I did it when I was nervous. whenever you feel the habit to do so, twiddle your thumbs, or tap yyour legs slightly. never pick or bite your nails. even sitting on your hands might work. it broke my habit! good luck!

Dear depressedchild15, You need to see a doctor ASAP…this type of behaviour can get worse and worse. A doctor can determine if you need counselling and medication. This shows an inability to cope and you need to learn coping skills. Also you can get infection at the sights you are pulling out the hair. Tell a parent and see a doctor. Sue…good luck

Answer #7

my little cousin does that… and we’re in the process of trying to figure out how to make him stop… he has bad anxiety… try snapping your fingers with the hand you dont use because its harder and makes you really focus on doin it
