What will happen if you go to public pools and the ocean after getting a new lip piercing?
No, new piercings shouldn’t be exposed to too much water or chemicals like chlorine and who knows what else is in the ocean or the pool. It would be best to wait till the piercing is completely healed so you won’t be at risk for any infections.
