PS2 to Zenith television

I recently moved and I want to hook my old PS2 up to my Zenith TV…except I have no idea how to do it.

Seriously, I am technologically retarded. I’ve tried every possible (I think) combination of plug ins, but I don’t even know if I have all the cables and plugs or anything.

I have my old VHS VCR, my Zenith TV, and my old PS2.

I have the PlayStation (I know it’s the PS cable because it says so on there, plus it hooks into the back of my PS2 - at the other end it has those 3 colored connectors. Do I plug them into the back of the VCR, or the TV?

Besides that…I don’t know if I need other plugs, and if I do, what they look like. I know everything is in my basement in boxes, but besides that, I’m clueless.

Anyone have any idea on how to approach this?

AC ~ IN = cable goes from here to the power point on the wall then follow spartans instructions for the other cord

Answer #2

I have a ton of cords downstairs, some of which are for cable jacks…but upon closer inspection of the PS2, right below the switch, there is this plug-in like object that says “AC ~ IN”. Is there only one cord that goes from the PS2 to some place else? Or am I missing another?

Alright here it goes: You should have color cords on the front of your vcr (or back), or your tv. Now follow these steps:

1: Take the color cords(yellow and white) and plug them in (You should then switch to “Video” on your tv or vcr, depending on which plugin you choose. Example: If you used the color cords on the vcr then go to the vcrs video. Which should be “input” on your remote)

2: If you still have all the cords to the original PlayStation it should have a cable cord which you plug into your cable jack. You simply turn to channel 3 and there you go.

If you still have trouble with it contact me through funmail and I’ll be gladly to help you further.
