What is the the proper way to dispose of very sharp knives?
I have butcher knives and carveing knives that are old and need thrown away?
Wrap duct tape, bubble wrap, card board, etc… around the blades and around the tips, so that they are not longer able to cut or poke anything. Then place them in a paper bag and put it down in your trash can, making sure it kind of nestled in the trash.
I’m sure there is a place to donate used items to the poor. If they are sharp then they are good. One man’s garbage is another man’s treasure.
I’m not sure you mgt av to take it somewhere incase binmen get hurt taking it away
I wud donate them but they r rusted and broken
just throw it in the trash. no one goes thru trash. the trashmen just dump the can into the truck, then drop the load at the dump
Then drop it off by a scrap metal dealer. Might get a couple bucks for them. Lol.
Yes people do go threw trash and I don’t want the trashmen to injure themselves
