Hey there! My name is Leslie and I live in the Arctic. Since it’s so cold up here, I have thick warm feathers to keep me warm. My diet mainly consists of fish, which I catch by diving into the water. My best friend Hayden is a excellent diver. In fact, she’s the best I know!

I don’t know what I would do without my feathers. My thick coat helps to keep me warm and alive when it’s cold, so I never freeze up here. Because I have the thickest set of feathers, all of my friends are jealous of my coat.

Diving is so much fun! I really love the water. My friends and I play in the water as much as possible. One of my favourite games to play in the water, is a game called ‘Shark’.

I’m an excellent diver. I plunge into the water head first with my flippers aimed at the surface. I also love to jump in the water. My friends and I have competitions to see who can jump the farthest; and I can jump pretty far.

Well, I am ready to go home to my family now that I am finished telling you about my feathers, my diving skills, and everything that my friends and I like to do in the water. Hope you enjoyed hearing all about myself and how I live!
