What color nailpolish and makeup should I wear for prom?

Ok. so for my formal/prom I am wearing a bluey-grayish dress and black shoes and black stone jewellery.

I need some ideas. What colour nailpolish should I wear? What colour eye make-up should I wear? Should i bring out my eyes or my lips? I’m going to be tanned and I have hazel eyes, usually fair, red undertone skin… Any ideas? Advice Much appreciated!

I would try to match your dress colors, the blue and grey, with your nails and eye color. Do some grey wisps and put something blue on top of it like a flower or some dots. For your eyes try a smokey eye with black and blue, with the blue the dominate color so it stands out. For your lips try a simple showy lip gloss I would say a few shades darker than your lip tone. Hope you have a great time at prom! ~Alanna

I would do; french tips for your nails, or cherry red for a different look. smokey, gray eyeliner and eyeshadow. I would bring out the eyes with a smokey look, and do a nude-y pink gloss for your lips. Mostlyl, just do what you think looks best and go with it! That way, you’ll be most comfortable! Have fun!

What colour nailpolish should I wear?

  • I would say go with something neutral, like french tips.

What colour eye make-up should I wear?

  • I think you should go for a slightly smokey look. Add some shimmer powder just under your brows about the middle and out. Also add some to accent your cheek bones. (follow the bone at the bottom of your eye socket)

Should I bring out my eyes or my lips?

  • Bring out your eyes and downplay your lips with some gloss

I’m going to be tanned and I have hazel eyes, usually fair, red undertone skin… Any ideas? -I think the grey/blue dress will contrast nicely against your skin and really bring out your features. Just accent that with the jewelry mentioned above, a great hair style and nice make up and I think you’ll look fab!
