How am I 2 months pregnant already?

ok I need help about countinq my preqnancy ! im supposly 6 weeks & qoinq for my first doctor visit next week. But if I had intercourse on Auqust 14 how could I be 2 months already ? Im like confused somebody help !

Like she said, they count from your last menstrual cycle…but here’s the deal 2 weeks that they count you werent actually pregnant yet, which is the time between your period and your ovulation

Did you have intercourse before that, like maybe 7 weeks ago. Sperm can live inside your body for up to 5 days. If you have sex on a Saturday you could get pregnant on a Thursday. Try and think back that far.

They go from your last period. So if you got pregnant halfway through your cycle then when your next period is due you would be 4 weeks.

Also 6 weeks would only be 1 month and a week and a half. Doctor’s do not go off of months, they count by using weeks because 1 month would be 4 1/2 weeks, 2 months 9 weeks, 3 months 13 1/2 weeks, 4 months 18 weeks, etc. It’s a bit confusing.

Well 4 weeks equals a month and 4 more weeks equals 2 months so if your 6 weeks is a month and 2 weeks.
