Prayer/poem

I wrote this before I got saved. My life was going down hill, close to hiting rock bottom. my life is now hapier, but I admit I still have a lot of bad days. I just pray this and it helps me a lot. what do you think?

I’m calling out to you

I’m calling out to you With a blade in one hand I don’t want to do this, but I feel I have no choice It really must end.

I’m calling out to you With tears and pain I’m crying myself a river Which someday will be pain’s home.

I’m calling out to you Soaked in sin No matter how hard I try, anger keeps taking over Please, I really want to be the nice person I am.

I’m calling out to you With an eager mind Hoping you will show me the way And lighten my darkened day.

Jesus opens the door, and allows us to enter in. Our journey with him begins on that date. We have much to learn, and to overcome. He is faithful to see us thru. He will never leave you nor forsake you. And he wants to become your best friend.

Walking with him, is a learning process.. One of which we never complete, on this side of heaven.

If you will seek him thru his word, you will be strengthened. His word is life.

Seek him thru the word, and thru the spirit, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, and in worship.

His word says that he inhabits the praises of his people.

that means that when we worship him, he draws near, by his spirit.

When this happens.. we are strengthened… and we leave blessed indeed.

His presence is something tangible, that you can feel. And you will know when you are in it.

Once you experience this, you will never be the same.

You will desire it over and over.

and you will determine to find it.. no matter where you have to go.

If you stay the course, one day, those hard days, will turn to good ones.

And you will be very glad you did.

You wrote a tribute to Jesus before you were saved? Forgive me for finding that somewhat difficult to swallow.

You couldn’t understand so don’t try…

No cry for help is shallow, unless help is ignored…finding help via a power greater than yourself, is something many people (people way smarter than any on this site) have done, and found peace and meaning.
