Screwdrivers seemed to be the most popular mixed drink of students in the 1960’s. Drinkers who liked a sweeter drink might have a rum and coke or Seven and Seven. Adults favored more involved drinks like Whiskey Sours, Martinis, Old Fashions, Daiquiris, Bloody Marys, Harvey Wallbangers or Irish Coffee but most underage drinking involved easily mixed drinks with only 2 ingredients.
