pink temporary hair dye

does it ruin your hair?does it burn your hair? help! b/c I wanna do one streak.

Well yes in a way it does ruin your hair… I did it once and since my hair is brown they had to bleach a streak blond… So if I were you I would just get it permanent..

even with permanent colors, hair has to be bleached first. It’s the bleach that damages hair, not the pink or whatever color. most of the bright colors like that are made with vegetable dies.

I prefer the semi permanent colors, I usually get my hair bleached at the salon and keep a jar or two of “manic panic” at home, usually two different colors. then I can switch it up every other week if I feel like it, and re touch, with out spending money at the salon. a word to the wise, the color dyes stain clothes and skin really easy, so be careful, definitely use a dye brush and gloves. punky colors is also a good brand, but manic panic is easier to find.
