They also used natural stains back in the “old OLD days”…like cherry juice, strawberries…etc …whatever was in season…and of course “pinching”… :)

Well, the Victorian-day remedy was to bite them lightly before you entered a room when you wanted to make a good impression (and pinch your cheeks to get them rosy) - or so I’ve read. Wasn’t around then, though.
