Piercing my lip with a kit?

Unless it’s a guy… Uhhh sterilize the area you’re going to pierce mark that spot hold it with the forceps take a deep breath in and as you let it out shove the needle through, don’t bother with the cork just be careful of your gums, though and then put the ring through as you pull the needle out(im assuming the needle is a 14gauge because it should be) and then pop the bead in place and BAM! You got a lip ring. Clean it twice a day with anti bacterial liquid soap or saline solution(salt water) You said you have H2Ocean, but if you made the solution yourself it’d be better because it’d be warm when you used it rather then freezing if you use the H2Ocean. After you pierce it you can put some ice on it to keep the swelling down. Good Luck!

I agree completely with jazloves to skate on this one. If you can’t go to a professional - you don’t get a piercing. Simple as that. Piercings are meant to be done RIGHT, by people who actually know what they’re doing. There are professional piercers for a reason. They know what they’re doing - you don’t. Piercings aren’t meant as DIY things DYI = Do it yourself in case anyone didn’t know that. It’s just asking for things to get majorly f*cked up. And then I bet you’ll be wishing you weren’t an idiot who tried to pierce something themself huh?

well I pierced my lip when I was 13..I did it with a safety pin for christ sakes lol…I don’t know why these people are all so worried..its a lip. now if it was your tongue thats a diff story…piercing your lip, especially if you have an actual KIT is perfectly fine…all I would suggest is to buy some sort of disifectant for it which you can get at any place that sells lip rings.
