Piercing jewelery question

ok when I got my nose pierced they said they couldnt pierce it with a ring because it woud cause a keloid which I got anyway so I was wondering if anyone who has their nose pierced got it with a ring and if they did get a keloid and also I was wondering if when someone gets their labret pierced if they give you a stud or the ring like thing

Anyone can get a keloid at anytime with almost any piercing. There is no jewlery that can cause them more than any other. The jewlery is strictly personal preferance. It sounds as if your piercer was not taught properly. It is a piercer I recomend never going to again.

I pierced my own labret before. but I had to let it close up because I was 11 and my mom didnt no about it. it got tiring having to take it out when I lave and then put it back in when I get outside. and then I had to take it off when I got into the house and put it back in when I went to my room

they usually let you pick if you want a labret stud or ring

You should’ve gotten it pierced with a stud ..
