Is it possible to be a piercer at 16 years old?

someone who peirces people, idk if that actually the correct term but i just say piercer

I don’t believe you can be a professional piercer at 16. I think you have to be at least 18 to get your piercing license and all that.

Before you become a piercer, you have to be trained and learn all of the safety precautions. Then, I believe you have to take some sort of test, in order to get your piercing license.

oooh, well how long does the training and stuff take?cause i really really want to do it, i have peirced other people before but im not really “experienced” oh and thanx for the answer

To be honest, I am not sure how long the training and getting your license takes, but you can visit a tattoo/piercing shop in your area and ask them…they will have more information on the subject, and they may even be able to set you up with some training. Also, you can ask @mandyloo … I believe she has worked in a tattoo/piercing shop before, and she should be able to give you a bit more information.
